Located in Fort Worth, Texas, North Crowley has established itself as one of the premier basketball programs in the state under Coach Tommy Brakel, who owns an incredible 828-163 career record. A former NAIA All-American at Sul Ross in 1992 and 1993, Brakel averaged 25.3 points per game, scored 1,866 career points, and set the school record with 85 three-pointers in a season. Competing in UIL 6A Region II, District 11, the Panthers have recorded 27 playoff appearances, 14 regional tournament appearances, 2 UIL State Championships, 141 college basketball signees, 27 professional players, and three NBA players: Keith Langford, Willie Warren, and Isaiah Crawford.
Coming off a 35-3 season and the 2026 UIL 6A Division I State Championship, the Panthers return what Coach Brakel calls the best backcourt in the state, led by Kameron Price and Isaak Hayes, along with talented guards Dontre Grandberry and Ty Harris.

Located in Dallas, Texas, Lake Highlands has established itself as one of the premier basketball programs in the state. The Wildcats compete at the UIL 6A level and will enter the highly competitive District 7-6A alongside Richardson ISD, Plano ISD, and Coppell programs. Lake Highlands boasts a rich tradition of success, highlighted by State Championships in 1968 and 2023, while making eight consecutive playoff appearances and averaging 25 wins per season during that stretch.
The program has produced standout talent at both the collegiate and professional levels, including NBA player Tre Johnson (Washington Wizards), Samson Aletan (Yale), Warren Carter (Illinois), and Josh Carter (Texas A&M). Located in Caddo Mills, Texas, Caddo Mills Basketball has established itself as one of the premier programs in Region II and competes in UIL 4A Region II District 13. Under the leadership of Coach Jamal Anene, the program has produced winning records well above .500 in four seasons, including rebuild years, while qualifying for the playoffs in three of the last four seasons. The Foxes captured a District Championship during the 2023-2024 season and advanced as Bi-District Champions and Area Qualifiers.
Coach Anene reached the 200-win milestone in his head coaching career during the 2025-2026 season and was named the 4A Region II District 13 Coach of the Year in 2023-2024. The program has developed five college and next-level basketball players, with alumni continuing their careers at Brookhaven College, Midlothian Marshals ABA, Clark Summit University, and Bethany College. Caddo Mills has also produced six THSCA Academic All-State basketball players, highlighting the program’s commitment to excellence both on and off the court.

Located in Lubbock, Texas, Lubbock Liberty has quickly emerged as one of the top rising programs in West Texas. Competing in UIL Class 4A, District 5 and Region 1, Liberty has posted a 70-30 record since opening in 2023-24.
After a 14-19 inaugural season with only freshmen and sophomores, the Patriots have gone 56-11 over the last two years, highlighted by a District Championship and Regional Finals appearance during a historic 30-5 season in 2025-26.
Led by Head Coach Parker Hicks since the school’s opening, Liberty has built a winning culture from the ground up. The program’s first graduating class produced college signee Tookie Johnson, who will continue his career at Lubbock Christian University.
Coach Hicks was a two-time NCAA Division II All-American at Lubbock Christian University, averaging 19.3 points per game as a senior and finishing his collegiate career with 1,357 points in 81 games.
