There has been a lot of back-and-forth in the community about $RIO's circulating supply. In an effort to help settle that discussion and share transparent, verifiable information, I built a tool that measures it daily across every chain $RIO lives on, so anyone can check the numbers for themselves. realiostats.com What it does $RIO exists on seven chains: Realio native, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Algorand, Stellar, Solana and Base. Most published figures, including the team's, focus on native $RIO on the main chain (around 85M). This tool reconciles all seven into a single number, allowing us to see the cross-chain circulating supply and market cap. Full disclosure This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the @realio_network team in any way. It uses only public blockchain data that anyone can pull and check, and the code is fully open source. The assumptions, stated openly There are many legitimate ways to define circulating supply. I chose one that is transparent and reproducible: - Counted unless shown otherwise: any $RIO in a public wallet is treated as circulating, unless it can be identified as a Realio reserve, treasury or bridge wallet. Those are listed and excluded. - Staked RIO counts, because it can be unbonded within 7 days and sold. By design, this is the largest circulating supply RIO can reasonably have. If anyone can identify any further team-controlled wallets, the number will only go down. This is an evolving project, and I would genuinely welcome that input. Context on the timeline The chart starts in October 2024, when Realio upgraded its bridge from a lock-and-mint reserve model to a burn-and-mint model. That is where clean, verifiable data begins. Two things are worth remembering: most of today's identified supply was already circulating at that point. And RIO's supply has actually been in the hundreds of millions since 2020, when it was minted on Ethereum, Algorand and Stellar. The token reached an all-time high of $5.12 in 2020 and traded above $2 as recently as early 2024, on a supply base of the same order as today's. So today's sub-$10M valuation is a repricing, not the result of runaway new issuance. Two things stand out - The reconciled circulating supply is about 326M RIO. At today's price, the market cap is under $10M. $RIO is a microcap. - The one that matters most: the tool tracks new emissions and confirms that supply growth is capped by the on-chain schedule (about 8% of the unminted native supply per year), with the daily readings coming in at or below that rate. It runs automatically every day and is verified over time. In plain terms, RIO's supply growth is controlled and disclosed. The upside potential is fully intact. The goal is simple: put accurate, verifiable numbers on the table, settle the circulating-supply debate, and get the community back to what actually matters, building the future of $RIO , which I believe is a bright one.
