Staking in Core now includes a 10% fee on rewards for delegations made through the wallet. This applies to new delegations only, going forward. Running your own validator is unaffected, and existing delegations are untouched.

We know this change is frustrating for long-term users. But building and maintaining a reliable delegation experience (validator monitoring, Fast Stake, keeping it integrated and non-custodial) costs real resources. The fee makes that sustainable instead of something we'd have to cut. 10% of rewards is within a typical range of other staking providers.

@GraveMines The fee is charged on top of the staked amount at time of the staking transaction, prior to reward distribution. If the validator fails to meet uptime requirements, resulting in the loss of rewards for your staking period, the fee will be refunded by Core.
