It’s a good reminder that you can just do stuff. How many positions of power in your community go by default to boomer libs because others don’t go for them? One of my local national forests was advertising for board seats to vote on and direct rural funds within the forest. I emailed the FS and got a prompt reply. I was the only one who had reached out about the position. Previously, the board had mostly been retired hippies from the Bay Area who lived hours away. But because the law favors locals, come 2027, a local right wing conservation chud will be voting on directing those funds. It’s a very small amount of power. But it will only cost me 8 hours a year. Find something to do. It’s easy to blackpill and feel demoralized when you focus on national level issues you have little influence over as a regular person. But what influence can you have locally? Even if it’s symbolic. Hell, my local water board hates our liberal state government so much they voted to secede. 😂 All momentum starts with a small movement. Find yours, American. 🇺🇸

Look, instead of making mothers dependents on the Federal Government, how about the Government get out of the way and liberate the family institution. No property taxes for families with 4 or more kids Or 25% Federal Income tax break per child. 4 or more, you pay no Federal Income taxes. Play around with those kind of incentives rather than making mothers dependent on a tyrannical institution like the Federal Government. Conservatism 101. Less Gov, not more.

Elon Musk was once asked why SpaceX builds 80% of its components in house when it would be cheaper and faster to buy them from existing suppliers. His answer reveals the philosophy that separates SpaceX from every aerospace company on earth. He said the suppliers were the problem, not the solution. The aerospace supply chain is built on a pricing structure that has existed for 50 years. Every supplier knows every other supplier's price. Nobody undercuts because the margins are comfortable and the contracts are long. The result is an industry where a valve that costs $3 in raw materials sells for $30,000 because that's what valves cost in aerospace. Nobody asks why. The price is the price. Elon asked why. He had SpaceX engineers reverse engineer the valve. The materials cost $3. The manufacturing at SpaceX's own factory cost $600. The same valve that the supplier sold for $30,000 was built in house for $600. A 98% cost reduction on a single part. He did this with everything. Avionics, flight computers, turbo pumps, fairings, heat shields. Part by part, SpaceX dismantled the supply chain that the entire industry accepted without question and rebuilt it inside one factory. This is why a Falcon 9 launch costs $67 million while a comparable ULA launch costs $350 million. Not because SpaceX has better technology. Because SpaceX asked a question that nobody in the industry had asked in 50 years: why does this part cost this much? The answer was always the same. It costs this much because it's always cost this much. That answer is sufficient for an industry that doesn't question its suppliers. It is not sufficient for a man who taught himself rocket science from borrowed textbooks and asks why about everything.

I am sick and tired of the federal government requiring TAXPAYERS to PAY FOR OTHER PEOPLE’s SHIT.

We DO NOT want the government’s money. We just want them to stop taking ours.

My wife has been a stay-at-home mom our whole marriage (except for last year when we both had part-time teaching jobs at a Christian school). And I don’t like this. Stop the socialism programs. You can help us by cutting taxes and ending the IRS like Trump said he would.

Most people never watch a city budget meeting. I do. Here's what Coeur d'Alene did Sept 1, in plain English: The city took the automatic 3% property tax hike. Then it reached into "foregone" taxes, money it chose NOT to collect in past years but saved the right to grab later. That banked pot is $6.5 million. This year they pulled ~$923,000 out of it, raising city property taxes about 6%. The city's sitting on a 25% reserve. Took it anyway. All legal. That's the problem. A cap only slows it. End the property tax.

Anyone over 65 that owns their house outright should NOT have to pay taxes on it of any kind!! Their kids are no longer in school and they've paid their dues Stop bleeding American citizens dry until the day they take their last breath!!

If I’m paying for a streaming service, there shouldn’t be ads. Not on Disney+, Amazon, Hulu, or anywhere else. Ads belong on the free tiers of these platforms. If advertisers are already paying to put ads in front of me, why am I paying to sit through them too?
