This was shared in response to my post about NHS ambulance trusts and their gender identity policies. I think it helps explain the institutional culture that made it possible for an NHS ambulance trust to produce policies that effectively ignore women as a sex class. This isn’t about an individual. It’s about an organisation that saw no contradiction in using International Women’s Day to celebrate a male staff member - under the banner of Women in Paramedicine. And once institutions stop distinguishing between sex and gender identity, policies that undermine women’s sex-based rights inevitably follow. That’s the real story. Via @Woman_AHF

The European Commission has no intention on giving me access to the documents that will clearly demonstrate I was fired from the directorate general for the single market on 9 March for my gender critical statements on the staff intranet. The original request for documents was sent the day my contract was terminated. It’s a real dilemma for them: I was hired on a “fake freelance” contract, so the Commission legally/officially had no relationship with me, even though the panicked termination letter stated that the performance issue that necessitated my termination was that I had another job. There are thousands of staff currently on such “bogus self-employment” contracts even though EU law targets such contracts in the Platform Work Directive. In reality, I was fired because of my defence of sex-based rights that I talked about on the EC Intranet. The LGBTIQ+ internal staff group @Egalite_EU (member of ILGA Europe) and @richard_coxon (he sells his used underwear on Vinted, as advertised right in his Twitter bio right next to his EU job title) and @sarah_ironside (she’s the one in charge of the insurance scheme that reimburses castration/mastectomy procedures for “trans” staff and their “trans” children) constantly made complaints about me and the others who set up the EU SEEN Network, and likely had a hand in getting me fired. The email paper trail would demonstrate all this. This would be belief discrimination, piled on top of the illegal employment setup — a double whammy. A Brisbane judge has won fans around the country for making a courtroom — and a child sex offender - sit in silence for five minutes. Judge Ryan Haddrick stopped proceedings in the Brisbane District Court on Thursday where a 35-year-old man had pleaded guilty to a sex act with a child. The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, committed the depraved acts against the 14-year-old after the pair had eaten dinner and smoked cannabis..
