IMPORTANT Supreme Court has quashed the charges of SC Atrocity in a case where a man from a scheduled caste had alleged that one Ramkrishna Chauhan abused him with casteist slurs inside a room at a school The case was that in 2020, the complainant, who is a parent, had a scuffle with Ramkrishna Chauhan, a school manager. The complainant alleged assault and caste-based abuse. FIR was filed. Chauhan took the case to Supreme Court, which said that the alleged crime was committed in a room and not “within public view” when members of the public can witness or hear the alleged utterance. It quashed the proceedings under SC Atrocity Act Supreme Court ruled that for prosecution under Sections 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act, the alleged caste insult must be made “within public view”

People wonder why Ayurveda classifies Onions as Tamasik. This is why. It is literally mold laden. It also stinks and makes you stinky, which Devatās despise. All our puja samagri is very fragrant for a reason. In specific medicinal dosages onions can actually help improve health and are used by Ayurveda for the same as well. However eating onion everyday isn't really a good thing. Ever since I have it up I also felt like digestion was so much better without it. Onions irritate the gut because they contain fructans (indigestible fibers that ferment and create gas) and volatile sulfur compounds (sharp chemicals that act as direct irritants to the stomach lining).
