President William Ruto attended the June 2026 G7 Summit in France after South Africa’s initial invitation was withdrawn following objections from the United State. 2. French President Emmanuel Macron invited Kenyan President William Ruto and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to the meeting. Ruto was not invited alone to represent the 54 African Nations as he falsely claimed. Neither AU nor AUC appointed him the African representative. 3. There is no publicly available information or read out from US State Department of any meeting between William Ruto and US President Donald Trump, where Ruto allegedly read the riot act to Donald Trump as he claims. The tone of Ruto's speech is dramatic- you'd imagine-from this claim- that there were dramatic confrontations where Ruto told Trump that Africa isn't his supermarket. Instead, from his speech available publicly, William Ruto begged for mineral rights, debt reforms and other pleas, sharing light moments with President Trump and other global leaders at the end of the summit. Kenyan President William Ruto is a known pathological liar amd these latest comments, spoken in Kiswahili, suggests that he stood up to particularly US President Donald Trump to tell him, "let's respect each other.
