I had a quick look at this. The Gatehouse closed after its former owner died. A local community group then tried to buy it through its Asset of Community Value status, raising money to create a community-owned pub. But the group lost out in what was described as a “blind sale”. The later planning application identifies Norwich Muslim Centre also known as Norfolk Muslim Community Association, charity number 1205465 as the applicant and claims sole ownership of the Grade II-listed building.
