Absolutely heartbreaking footage. “How could this happen, Mom?! I can’t take this…” — a son cries over his mother’s mangled body. An elderly couple was trying to flee Druzhkivka with only the essentials. A russian FPV drone chased them down the road. The explosion happened right under their feet. The man suffered multiple injuries to his legs. The woman lost parts of both legs and fingers on one hand. Their son ran to them after hearing their cries for help. Medics from the Khizhak Brigade provided emergency aid and evacuated the couple using a ground robotic system. The mother later died in hospital. This is the reality of life in Ukraine.

For years, the @UN said Gaza was starving, and Israel was singularly to blame. In 2023, it warned of mass starvation. In 2024, famine was “imminent.” By 2025, the UN-backed IPC said famine was happening. Now, new UN data shows acute malnutrition across Gaza at 0.2% to 0.8%, comparable to or below pre-war levels, and lower than neighboring Arab countries like Egypt and Jordan. Those famine claims were used to accuse Israel of deliberately starving civilians, despite questionable methodology, shifting thresholds, and data that did not support the claims. Which raises the question: if there was never a famine in Gaza, why was the UN so invested in falsifying one?
