Kurdistan Peace Mothers Call for National Unity Following the Deaths of Kurdish Fighters The Kurdistan Peace Mothers in Kurdistan have released a statement following the deaths of four members of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) and six Peshmerga fighters of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), expressing their condolences to the families of the victims and calling for greater unity among the Kurdish people and political movements. In their statement, the group said that although the fallen fighters belonged to different political parties with different ideologies, they shared the same identity, homeland, and commitment to the Kurdish people. They described the loss as not only a tragedy for the families of the deceased but also a wound carried by the entire Kurdish nation. The Mothers of Peace stressed that the blood of those who lost their lives should become a bridge for solidarity rather than a reason for further political division. They said that no political or party differences should outweigh the national interests of the Kurdish people or weaken the spirit of unity. The statement also called on the people of Kurdistan, civil society activists, national figures, and political organizations to take part in the memorial ceremonies for the fallen fighters. According to the group, such participation would demonstrate that the Kurdish people stand together in times of loss and honor all those who sacrificed their lives, regardless of political affiliation. In addition, the Mothers of Peace urged the Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan to take a stronger and more active role in serving the Kurdish people. They said the public expects cooperation among Kurdish parties to go beyond joint statements, formal meetings, and symbolic gestures, and instead develop into practical coordination, shared planning, and meaningful action in support of the national interests of the Kurdish people. The statement concluded by saying that a better future for the Kurdish people can only be achieved through dialogue, solidarity, mutual respect, and genuine cooperation among all political and social forces. It honored the memory of all those who have lost their lives in Kurdistan and expressed hope that greater unity would be the strongest tribute to their sacrifice. The Kurdistan Peace Mothers are a group of women, including mothers of those who have lost their lives and political prisoners, who have become a symbol of the struggle for justice, peace, equality, and an end to violence in Kurdistan.
@EldarMamedov4 Thing is, there are no Kurdish proxies in Iran. The Kurdish factions there followed closely what happened to Rojava and the SDF and decided they can't trust the US and will not act on their request.
