I didn’t expect some of the most remarkable digital art I’ve seen to live silently on @objktcom - now I want more...!
Machine-embroidered animations by Huwmessie.
I created a new generative typeface that simulates typography being woven together. You can play with it as if it’s real strands of thread 🧵🪡
I initially designed this for an exhibition all about textiles but excited to see what else I can do with this.

Diving into @StudioYorktown's journey together has been immensely insightful. I had an absurd amount of questions and I'd like to say a huge thank-you for the amount of thoughtful elaboration shared.
Building an entire city-generator is wildly complicated yet the amount of passion invested is inspiring. Let's dive into things! ↓
Bruce: My father was an educator, and as a result, he only believed in letting us play with certain types of toys. I was not really allowed action figures and such until I was a bit older. I used to play with this toy called (Jovo), which are these tessellating shapes that can be clicked together to create various primitives.
It'd be an interesting study to find out if interactions with certain toys might affect our cognition at a later age. I would like to think that those toys really helped me see space differently, but I do not have any way of comparing how others may perceive space.
'Theoretical Civilization' satiates a lot of the desires I had to become an architect, albeit in a different way than I could possibly have imagined.
This is the longest I have ever worked continuously on a single code-based project. It primarily arises from trying to establish a daily practice. As such, it reflects two years of sustained efforts. There is something powerful about repetition, with perseverance, anything is possible.
I came back to London feeling like everything is ... old and new at the same time. Not sure if that means I am where I am supposed to be or I am completely lost.
But spending a day restarting my plotters did make me feel at home.

What connects Anni Albers to @_deafbeef? Sol LeWitt to @ArtOnBlockchain? Infinite Images: The Art of Algorithms at @ToledoMuseum explores how rule-based systems, chance, and AI have shaped artmaking, bringing together pioneers of rule-based art and today’s leading generative artists, showing how algorithms have long shaped artistic creation.
Ten points.
Memory holds no water.
It slips, a fragment
reclaimed by shadows.
We trace outlines
of what might have been.
You whisper through the silence,
a gesture, not a sound.
Echoes fold back upon themselves,
a labyrinth with no center.
This is not forgetting.
