Not a stat you will read about in the media but over 100 MPs were angry on a "personal level" over Starmer’s forced exit & were disappointed by the way a dedicated and hard working PM was treated by Burnham & co. I couldn't agree more.

The very first time I've seen Farage questioned properly about his £5M bung, and it's fair to say, he totally fluffed it. There are points when you can see Farage tremble and even accuse the BBC of putting him in danger. 🤦‍♂️ It was for security. It was for cars. Nobody cares. It's no one's business. He won't tell us. DANGER! At one point, he let slip that the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards may 'disagree' with him on the rules around donations. He knows he's going to be found guilty on this one. At that point your body has exactly one cooling system left: sweat turning to vapor and pulling heat off your skin. Phoenix is built to protect that system. Around 90% of US homes have AC, the air is bone dry so sweat evaporates the instant it forms, and the whole city is designed around triple digits. Britain is built to defeat it. Roughly 5% of homes have air conditioning. About 92% overheat during a heatwave. Half the housing stock went up between 1930 and 1982, with thick walls and small windows meant to trap warmth through a damp winter. The same features that keep a house cozy in February turn it into an oven that won't release heat in July. Then the sun goes down and nothing changes. A real heatwave brings tropical nights where the temperature never drops below 20°C. Your body resets by dumping the day's heat overnight. Remove that recovery window and the strain stacks, night after night. That's why London's heat death rate rivals Rome's, and why the UK loses more than ten times as many people to heat as Sweden does. The 2022 heatwave killed around 3,000. At one point the Central Line was running hotter than the legal limit for transporting cattle. Phoenix planned for the heat. Britain assumed it would never arrive. 38 stays a small number right up until it's one degree above the one inside you.

I’ve known Keir since he was a lawyer. He was principled then, just as he is now, and throughout his career he has been driven by a deep sense of public service and duty to this country. He transformed the Labour Party, rooted out antisemitism, restored trust and made our party electable again. He won a historic mandate to change Britain for the better and, most importantly, he delivered on that promise. With Keir’s leadership, this Labour government brought stability back to our economy, cut NHS waiting lists, improved renters’ rights, began to fix the crisis we inherited in our courts and prisons, reduced small boat crossings, protected young people online, lifted half a million children out of poverty and restored Britain’s standing in the world. He put Britain back at the heart of Europe, stood firmly with Ukraine and rebuilt relationships with our allies. Change promised, change fought for and change delivered. That is Keir Starmer’s legacy, and I am incredibly proud to have played my part in it.

Starmer is a good PM. He just pissed off the right people (Press barons, billionaires and fascists) who have the power and tools to make the politically illiterate believe he isn’t doing a good job. The Daily Fail, X and GB “News” are examples of the propaganda.

PM please don’t resign.

If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated. On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades. After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced. We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...

Starmer is only unpopular because our right wing media and Russian influence has persuaded the masses so. Anyone with half a brain knows he is the best PM for many years and has already delivered on many of Labours manifesto pledges.

Seems bizarre to me that the press aren’t going bigger on the fact that Russia targeted Keir Starmer’s house and car. We are currently about to start a Leadership contest as Starmer is seen as unpopular, but no-one is discussing the clear Russian interference on social media.

Fascinating that Starmer is widely regarded as doomed when so many key metrics are going his way: channel crossings, migration more generally, NHS waiting lists, and today’s inflation numbers

We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.
