It was a bit of a trying day yesterday at @ATLMotorSpdwy, but we ended up with a decent result of 21st. We made a lot of changes and progress throughout the day, just didn't have the raw speed we hoped for. Not a terrible day, just wish we could get a bit more! Proud to represent Pella of Georgia, Quick N Eat, United Contractor Services, Hero Roofing, and @classicollision!

Most people never get where they want to be in the long term because they are unwilling to struggle, suffer or be uncomfortable in the short term. Those who win are those who are willing to endure. They remember where they are going rather than complaining about where they are.

Obstacles are meant to be overcome. Records are made to be broken. If the goal is to ‘get by’ then the goal is average. Success is meant to be achieved - so always aim high & work to hit the mark

So...Nick Saban, the GOAT of College Football, has retired. 48 Hours Later, he is replaced. Life Lesson 101: We are ALL Replaceable. And we should be. Life always goes on. So, what can we learn from this? Here are 6 things... 1. Focus on Relationships - These do not end. The people you work with and the young people you coach or lead are what matter. Connect with them. Get to know them. Be there for them. This is what coaching is all about. 2. Make Memories - These last forever. These are what you will remember most. Focus on making the most of the opportunity you have. Coaching is such a rewarding job. It is demanding, too. But the memories are unmatched. Make them! 3. Don't Forget Family - Family matters most. Never lose sight of this. As a coach, make sure you have a supportive spouse. When things get rough, as a coach, a supportive spouse, family, and friend group remind you of what is truly important. 4. Trust the Process - The process is always the prize. Focus on habits to be the best you can be. Know that the habits you create become who you are. 5. Life is Short - "You are only here for a short time. Don't hurry, don't worry, and make sure you smell the flowers along the way." - Author unknown. Make the most of life. Remember that oftentimes, less is more. 6. Leave It Better - Leave your job better than when you got there. That should be your goal. Make the most of your opportunity. Measure Success by the Team's Success, Not Your Own: It isn't about what you can accomplish, but asking what can we accomplish together. Ask yourself what can we build together that is special and can last? The goal should be to make it bigger than just the bottom line, whether that is winning games or making money. Your collective success is the true reflection of effective leadership. 6. Earn Respect Through Your Actions: It shouldn't just be about yourself, but it should be about the team. Demonstrate your commitment through your actions. You should have a great attitude, be collaborative, and work together.
