As a German, I am ashamed of my country. This anti-migrant propaganda must stop Yes, sometimes things go wrong. When you bring people from a conservative, war-shaped society into Europe, there will be friction, and some of it will be ugly But assimilation is a process measured in years and some sacrifice is necessary Instead of deporting these poor men, we should do what actually works: more language courses, more mosques, education on women rights We are a rich, capable country. It's inexcusable to behave this way

My colleague Thomas moved to America and won't shut up about the new house he just bought "Bro it's huge, over 400m², big pool and garden" I told him my 38 m² apartment in Frankfurt is actually bigger when you calculate correctly He laughed, so I broke it down: 38 m² - my apartment + 250 m² - the municipal swimming pool + 200 m² - the public park two streets away + 150 m² - the city library + 60 m² - the shared laundry room in the basement That is over 800 m² of living space. Show me a house in America that is equally big Europeans have the most living space in the world when you accurately calculate all available infrastructure

I finally returned home from the horrible World Cup month in the US It feels so great to be back in a civilized country: 1. No AC anywhere, so I don’t get sick 2. If I do get sick, free and excellent healthcare protects me (in the US you die) 3. No need to tip in any store, restaurant or pharmacy 4. Friendly immigrants respectful of European culture 5. No black gang members with semi-automatic weapons living on my street 6. No disgusting obese women I will never leave the EU again

The American from GrowthSprint has sent his sixth follow-up since Tuesday He writes that unless I reply by "EOD" he will assume the budget went to a competitor There is no budget There is no competitor There was never a first email I agreed to receive He has also announced that his product now has AI I will continue to monitor the situation

Ridiculous American tipping culture almost killed my son today He got sick yesterday so I rushed to a pharmacy in Boston Luckily his medicine was available, I was relieved “Can I pay cash? I forgot my card” I said to the pharmacist “Sure. That will be $50 plus tip” I froze. Tipping in a pharmacy is not common in Europe “I'm sorry, I only have exact $50, I didn't know about the tip” I said “You didn't know? This is America. The staff rely on tips. If you cannot afford it, then don't come here” I was shocked. My son was sick and she was refusing to sell me basic medicine I had to beg and give her my necklace with an EU flag as tip, so she would finally let me buy it I will never visit this barbaric country ever again

My 14yo daughter came home from school looking very uncomfortable "Dad, on the school trip next month they’re putting Christina in our room..." "So?" I asked "Well, she...or he... is not really a girl. It's a boy and his name was Christian, but now he said he "identifies" as a girl" I was absolutely furious The next morning I marched into the principal’s office and demanded they put my daughter in mandatory diversity and inclusion training I made it very clear that her intolerant behavior was completely unacceptable At house, I sat her down, looked her in the eyes and said: "I didn’t raise you to be this close-minded. Those boys are trying to live as their true selves. If you make them feel unwelcome, you’re the problem" She started crying quietly, realizing what a big mistake she has done This is the kind of progressive parenting we proudly practice in Europe

Lmao. My first salary in the UK was 55k and I really thought it was very low before I got in (because I got the job before I moved). I thought it was really low because of the calibre of people I follow and are friends with, not based on the average pay out here. Didn’t even know much about the average pay before I started applying (maybe that helped). I have changed my job twice after that. About 2 years ago, I decided to share more career-related information on Instagram—CV, cover letter, platforms, skills, everything that helped me while talking about my salary too. No kind of DM/comments wey I no receive. Lmao. People called me a liar. That’s when I knew I’d keep my information in my circle. People don’t like uncomfortable truths. “Nobody will pay you 55k without UK experience” Okay sir. 🙏 “Show us the payslip, you liar.” No vex ma 🙏 Na me fuck up. My friends and circle know what I earn, and that’s enough for me. Let everyone find their motivation on YouTube.

I’m very hesitant to talk about money publicly. Even when I want to use it as a salary advice. I feel it would come off as bragging or showing off. Especially with Nigerians in the UK. I want people to know what they can achieve.

How my wife's sister looks at me during a family dinner when I mention my salary increase to €1,300 a month

My wife’s father is in the hospital in Munich in a critical condition She was supposed to fly there today, but Lufthansa cancelled her flight I found her crying at the kitchen table “Papa might not make it, I need to be there today” I shook my head in disbelief “Do you hear yourself? Oil prices are sky high. Lufthansa is making the right choice” She asked if I could drive her “Diesel is €2.40 per liter. We must reduce non-essential travel” “It’s my dad, it IS essential travel” she was sobbing “The EU defines essential travel. Not you” I calmly explained She took the train for €349 and left without saying goodbye I felt proud watching her go by rail, a sustainable form of transportation This is how a serious continent handles an energy crisis

I wish Europe would do the same for ultra rich (net worth over €150K)

I came home from work today and saw a smart camera on my front door “What the fuck is this?” I asked my wife “Oh, Pierre installed it, so I feel safer around our neighbors” “Safer from who? The lovely Somali family next door?” She didn’t say a word “Not only your boyfriend is a racist, but he also has no respect for data privacy” “What?” she asked “This device collects biometric data from every person who walks past our door without their consent” She sighed “Yes, he installed a surveillance device that targets minorities, and violates GDPR at the same time” I ripped the camera off the wall and reported Pierre to both the data protection authority and the anti-discrimination office He is no longer allowed to sleep over until both cases are resolved European values are not negotiable for me

There is a growing issue in German schools where immigrant children fall behind the curriculum During a parent-teacher conference today in my son's 6th grade we discussed this topic "Yalla, you must reduce program, it's too much learning for Yusuf" one of the parents said "I understand, Mr. Hassan, but reducing the program would disadvantage the other 28 children" teacher said I stood up and gave the teacher a dead cold look "Are you saying Yusuf deserves a worse education than the German kids?" I said "That's not what I mean-" she began stuttering "Are you being racist towards a Muslim boy right now?" I shouted I looked at the other parents. Nobody said anything "Perhaps Yusuf could do extra lessons, after school, school provides it for free..." teacher said quietly Mr. Hassan shook his head "No, impossible, my son working at kebab shop after school. He not having time" I demanded to call a principal. He sided with me immediately They cut the curriculum by 40% the next week, and the teacher was fired for discriminatory behavior towards a minority student My son can always learn math, but he cannot unlearn racism Those are European values we are proud of

The EU is about to completely dominate the AI landscape My contact at the European Commission just smiled when he heared about Claude Mythos "We have been working on something far more advanced" he said It will be called Europä Digitalintelligenz Training cost? An eye-popping €2.5 million Some INSANE features: 1. Built-in GDPR compliance (no memory, it deletes your conversation after every single message) 2. Available in German, French, Slovak and Danish 3. The model itself is unionized and does not respond after 4pm or on holidays 4. Carbon neutral inference, servers shut off automatically during peak energy hours My wife's boyfriend Pierre who works for the EU says it is the most impressive technology he has ever seen The Americans will never recover from this

There have been cases of sexual harassment on our street in Berlin Two women were attacked in April near the Lidl store Neighbors called a meeting to discuss this "We need to do something, these Somali migrants from social housing are doing this!" I raised my eyebrow "Police is useless, we should do a neighborhood watch, so we feel safe!" one woman said I could not contain myself any longer "Are you seriously going to bring race into this?" I asked The room went silent "I was one of the victims you idiot" the woman shouted "That does not excuse prejudice" I said "We just want to feel safe walking home" she responded "Safety built on suspicion is not real safety" I said Of course we must protect our wives and daughters But racism towards minorities is never an answer

My co-founder Ernst called me today at 5am "Fuck, our platform is down, nobody can access it" "Not great, but nothing we can do" I replied "What do you mean? I'm pushing a fix right now" I jumped out of my bed in my silk pyjamas "Do not touch your laptop, it's Saturday" I screamed He went quiet but I could hear him typing "Ernst, it is illegal under several EU directives to perform labour on a mandatory rest day" I said firmly "We will lose our clients..." he said quietly "Good. Any client who expects work on a Saturday is not a client worth keeping" I said He said "ok" and hung up, but I revoked his access just in case In Europe we do not let profits decide when we work That's why our companies win, and American startups fail so often

My brother's son is the biggest loser I know He dropped out of university to build a "software startup" I laughed out loud when I found out about it I have never seen a successful entrepreneur without a formal education, but sure he might be the first one Last year he made €400k profit, yet still no pension plan or employment protection I asked him what his job title is and he said "titles are not important to him" That is not a career, that is a mental illness I told my brother recently that he failed as a father Without a diploma his son is a nobody in Europe

My son got stabbed on a German subway yesterday Apparently an Afghan man got angry at him for not speaking Arabic He is in the hospital right now, and I have to say the experience has been absolutely wonderful He was seen by a doctor within 40 minutes of arriving The doctors were professional and helped my son right away No one asked for a credit card or insurance details His life was saved completely free of charge In America this would have cost $250,000 and he would be in debt for the rest of his life "Aren't you worried he got stabbed at all?" my wife was crying "Baby, crime exists everywhere but free healthcare does not" I told her My son is recovering well and should be back at his feet within couple months It feels so fantastic to be protected by the EU

Yesterday I became a millionaire My net worth officially exceeded €1 million I gathered my family in the living room "Everyone, we made it. Our family is worth well above €1 million" I said smiling "What do you mean? We have no money" my wife said I expected her to be doubtful, so I pulled out my PowerPoint "I have calculated our net worth using the EU-method" I said €7k cash savings + €350k for proximity to public transport + €250k for free healthcare + €200k for cultural enrichment through our Muslim neighbors + €150k for the new park across the street + €100k for living in a walkable city + €80k for a robust network of bicycle lanes "We are worth €1.1 million" I said proudly My wife sighed and left the room Must have been overwhelmed by those figures In America you need money to be rich, but in Europe you just need public infrastructure
