This was not politics. This was the Jewish soul speaking. After centuries of being the stranger, the outcast, the one no empire would shelter … the Jewish people were finally the ones with the power to open their gates. And they chose to remember.

On This Day — July 18, 1290 King Edward I of England (“Longshanks”) ordered every Jew in his kingdom to leave or die. The Edict of Expulsion gave Jews (who had lived in England since 1066) until November 1 to depart. They could take what they could carry. Most tried to cross the Channel. In Nazi Germany, some ordinary Germans risked their lives to save Jews. In Gaza after October 7, there are no documented cases of Palestinians trying to save Israeli hostages. This does not mean every Gazan is guilty, and it does not blame all Palestinians everywhere. But Gazan society failed to produce even one clear example of someone stepping up to help the hostages. That bigger picture deserves honest discussion beyond just pointing the finger at Hamas leaders.

To Those Who Compare Gaza to the Holocaust After years of suffering, starvation and disease in the ghettos, the Nazis offered desperate Jews a way out. They promised them jobs and a better future. They told them they were being relocated to labor camps where they could support their families. Believing they had finally found hope, the Jews boarded the trains. Those trains took them to extermination camps. Upon arrival, they were told they would first take a “disinfection shower” before entering the work camp. The gas chambers were disguised as shower rooms. Many only realized they had been deceived when the gas started flowing. That was systematic, industrialized murder built on the intent to exterminate an entire people. In Gaza, when Israel wants to target Hamas infrastructure, it evacuates entire neighborhoods in advance, even though this gives Hamas time to escape. Israel does this specifically to minimize civilian casualties. These two realities are fundamentally different. Comparing them dishonors the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

Never forget what Palestinians did to the Bibas family. An innocent family, with two young boys, brutally murdered. I will personally remind the world every single day.

Israel has become the ultimate litmus test for one’s values. Pro-Israel? Nine times out of ten you can accurately predict the rest of their worldview: men cannot give birth, there are only two genders, mass migration is bad, capitalism works, religious freedom must be protected, and Judeo-Christian values are the bedrock of Western civilization. Anti-Israel? You can safely assume they’re either an Islamist, a communist, a neo-Nazi, or a teenage LARPer shrieking “Deus Vult” from his mom’s basement. “Palestine” is what unites the worst people in the world. Israel didn’t ask for this role. It’s perfectly fine to have no strong opinion on a faraway Middle Eastern country. But in the current climate, a person’s stance on Israel instantly tells you whether they’re worth your time — or a waste of oxygen.

Israel is the Middle East’s most diverse democracy—a country where Jews, Muslims, Christians, atheists, people of different ethnic backgrounds and people with opposing political beliefs live under the same legal system.

The Palestinian Authority Is Collapsing, And It Should Be Allowed to Die I’ve watched the Palestinian leadership from the inside my entire life. They have rejected every opportunity for peace and statehood, from the 1948 Partition Plan, all the way to 1993, 2000, and 2008. At every single junction, destroying Israel was more important to them than building a normal life for their own people. Instead of building a functioning society, they created a corrupt system based on victimhood and permanent conflict. The Palestinian Authority became nothing but a criminal middleman that stole from its people while living off international aid and Israeli tax money. October 7th was the last bridge they burned with their own hands. The Palestinian Authority is collapsing, and it should be allowed to die. The same goes for Hamas and every other failed Palestinian entity. The Arabs of Judea and Samaria deserve a chance at a normal life. They deserve to raise their children in peace, send them to school without teaching them to hate, and build a future instead of sacrificing them for a fantasy. The solution is not another Palestinian “state” or another corrupt authority. The real path forward is to remove the middlemen completely and work directly with the tribal and clan leaders, the people who actually care about their communities, not about slogans and resistance. The Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and the whole “resistance” industry have been a curse on these people for far too long. It’s time to end this failed experiment and try a completely different approach.
