For anyone who struggles with repeated sinful patterns and thoughts, whether anger, jealousy, depression, self-loathing, lust, or anything else that falls short of God’s best: Here is a seven-step formula I learned from the late Pastor Henry Wright. I use it regularly in my own life, and I teach it often. Let’s use lust as an example. 1. Recognize Recognize the issue you repeatedly face and bring it before God. 🙏 “Father, I recognize that I have aligned myself with a spirit of lust.” ❗️ NOTE: Rather than say, "I HAVE such-and-such", I would say, "I HAVE ALIGNED WITH A SPIRIT of such-and-such." Don't take ownership. It is not you, it is not yours. This concept comes from Romans 7:17: "I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me." 2. Responsibility Take responsibility for it. Don’t blame your parents or even a traumatic or abusive experience that may have caused it. That experience may have truly been the trigger, but it is your responsibility to bring it before the Lord and seek healing. 🙏 “Father, I take responsibility for aligning myself with a spirit of lust. I don’t blame anyone or anything for this. I take full responsibility.” 3. Repent Repentance is expressing genuine remorse before the Lord. 🙏 “Father, I repent for aligning myself with a spirit of lust. I am truly sorry before You.” 4. Renounce Renunciation is your declaration that you are turning away from that pattern and choosing a different direction. 🙏 “Father, I renounce my alignment with a spirit of lust. I turn away from it right now, in Jesus' name.” 5. Remove Not every sinful struggle has a demonic component. But if there is demonic influence involved, remove it through the authority you have in Jesus. 🙏 “In the name of Jesus: Evil spirit of lust, I bind you up, I break your power, and I cast you out. Get out, now.” 6. Refill Where that sinful pattern once occupied space in your thoughts and life, ask God to refill that same space with His truth. 🙏 “Father, please refill me now. In every area where lust took residence, refill me right there with Your divine truth.” 7. Repeat God can bring healing in a moment. He can also bring healing over time. If the pattern returns, don’t quit. Go through the process again. ✨️ Seven Steps: Recognize. Responsibility. Repent. Renounce. Remove. Refill. Repeat. I offer this to you, because I sincerely employ this regularly in my prayer life. I attest to its efficacy. especially when the Holy Spirit reveals an ungodly thought or behavior pattern that falls short. Shalom. ❤️❤️❤️

Nearly half the fat inside a human artery plaque is omega-6 from vegetable oil. Somebody took the plaques out and weighed what was in them. A London team pulled them from men who had died of heart disease, then compared each plaque against the fat on that man's own body, which is a decades-long record of what he had been eating. The omega-6 in the body fat matched the omega-6 in the plaque. The omega-6 in the blood matched the omega-6 in the plaque. The saturated fat matched nothing at all. Three years later the same group counted 668 plaques taken from thirty men dead of ischaemic heart disease. Omega-6 came to between 44 and 46 per cent of all the fat in them. Which is what you would expect, because of how a plaque is actually built. An LDL particle has to oxidise before a macrophage will swallow it. The macrophage becomes a foam cell. The foam cell becomes the plaque. Every cardiologist on earth agrees on that sequence. Oxidation starts by tearing a hydrogen off a fatty acid, and it can only tear one off a polyunsaturated fat. A saturated molecule offers nothing to grab. A monounsaturated molecule barely does. So linoleic acid is the ingredient the disease requires. It is the thing that goes rancid, gets eaten, and gets left in the artery wall. Saturated fat cannot perform that reaction. It has never been chemically capable of it. The Lancet printed the first paper in 1994, and the authors wrote plainly that the push towards eating more polyunsaturated fat ought to be reconsidered. Nobody reconsidered anything. Butter has served thirty years for a crime the frying oil committed, and the evidence was on the slab the whole time.

Being politically illiterate is just as bad as being deficient in any category because it does in fact “matter” whether you choose to participate or not. Politics decide our FREEDOM, the most important thing human beings could ever possess. You like practicing your faith? Thank someone who “cares” about politics. Christians are some of the worst culprits of this thinking. Being politically literate is hard but it’s easy to start. Stay grounded in your values and talk to someone who IS knowledgable. I always tell my kids, don’t try to learn about God from a non believer. The same is true for politics. Someone who “doesn’t care” but then spouts off a talking point from a viral meme with zero context is NOT going to help you think. You can value kindness, but without political literacy, open borders or crime leniency or endless social services or DEI or Free Palestine may seem kind… BUT, You have to know what the results of those decisions actually mean and what they lead to in order to judge whether they are in fact “kind” and those facts are often left of the memes. Please start caring about politics, about policies, about protecting freedom of speech, religion, security, education… It all matters and I would love some company in the field.

The most famous sun damage photograph in medicine shows a man aged twenty years on one side of his face, through glass, by the wavelength sunscreen was worst at blocking. New England Journal of Medicine, 2012. William McElligott, 69, a delivery driver for 28 years. Left side at the window. Right side in shade. The left looks 86. The right looks his age. Window glass blocks UVB almost entirely and lets UVA straight through. So none of that damage was the burning ray. All of it was the ageing one. Everybody shared that photo with the caption wear sunscreen. Nobody checked whether the sunscreen blocked the thing in the picture. SPF is an erythema measurement. It scores redness. It scores UVB. It has never scored UVA. The United States approved 16 filters and added not one between 1999 and June 2026. Its only broad UVA chemical filter, avobenzone, is famously photo-unstable and degrades in the light it is standing in. The Environmental Working Group found many top-selling American sunscreens would fail Europe's UVA standard outright. The FDA proposed strengthening those UVA rules in 2019, proposed them again in 2021, and has never finalised them. Europe and Asia have been using better UVA filters since 2000. So for a quarter of a century the American shelf sold a product that raised the SPF number, muted the burn, and left the wavelength that ages you largely untouched. Which means the cream did not protect the driver. It removed his alarm and kept him in the seat. They sold a burn suppressant, called it protection, and let the ray in the photograph do its work in silence.
