Sixty years ago this month, I discovered a lifelong passion for the bass guitar. I was 15 years old and had played guitar for four years but it was the bass that changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined. It showed me the best and the worst this world has to offer.

What did the murder of Alan’s friends at the Kingsmill Massacre or the murder of my band mates at the Miami Showband Massacre achieve? What cause did those murders ennoble? Who benefits from the bloodshed? Was it worth it in the end? Will the world ever learn the futility of war?
The Miami Showband Massacre remains one of the most notorious False Flag Operations in recent history. Despite the meticulous planning and military firepower, it failed because two musicians lived. 🙏
