Big spike in Restore Britain membership this weekend.

As chairman of Restore Britain Swale & Mid Kent Branch, I am very pleased to announce that, Ryan Kidby, the former chairman of the leader of Kent County Council's Reform Branch has joined @RestoreBritain_! Ryan is a British Army veteran, who saw action in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is also a local businessman, a family man, and a proud patriot of this nation! Like many a few years ago, he joined Reform because he saw where the country was heading and wanted to do something about it. He saw first hand the kinds of people that have been allowed to enter this country, and wanted to put a stop to it. I know Ryan very well, he is the first person I speak to when I want to discuss a plan or a topic, and I'm glad he's back on my team. He fought for the grassroots within Reform and was overlooked. Like me, he saw the rot that was being allowed into that party and couldn't put up with it any longer. He is not a man who will ever compromise on his principles, that's why he's joined Restore Britain. Ryan is doing the right thing, and standing for what he truly believes in! Welcome, Ryan!

Britain is ready for real change. And I mean real change. Not merely conserving, or reforming. Restoring.

Restore Britain 9% national polling, about to hit 130,000 members and patriotic councillors coming over to us. I’ve never been more confident that we’re going to get our country back.

After much prayer and careful thought, I’ve decided to join Restore Britain, led by Rupert Lowe. I was first drawn to stand for Reform UK because of its strong anti establishment principles, its focus on everyday hard working people, and its commitment to protecting and celebrating British culture and identity. Those values resonated deeply with me and with many others who felt that mainstream politics had lost touch with ordinary families and communities. However, since serving as an independent councillor, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on how I can best use my time and energy to deliver real change, and I’ve come to realise that I can’t do that effectively on my own. Real change needs a strong and organised movement, people pulling in the same direction with the courage to act, and I believe Restore Britain is building exactly that, a bold movement that puts British communities first without compromise. That’s why I’m making this move. My faith as a Christian calls me to act with honesty, compassion and boldness, even when it isn’t easy, and this is one of those moments. I know some people will question this decision, but my focus remains the same, on those who want to work but are being priced out of the job market, left stuck on benefits with nothing meaningful to do, and the real impact that has on people’s mental health. Strong families built on responsibility and love are the foundation of strong communities, and we need to Restore that! We also cannot ignore the serious institutional failures we’ve seen over the years, including under Keir Starmer, which allowed grooming gangs to exploit and devastate vulnerable British girls. Protecting the innocent must always come before political correctness, and I support real action and accountability on this. This isn’t about political drama or party games, it’s about putting our communities first, secure borders, common sense, accountability, and dealing with the issues people face every day, the cost of living, housing, local services and infrastructure here in Bridgend. Nothing changes on the ground for you. I’ll continue as I always have, holding surgeries, dealing with casework, attending meetings and being visible across Pyle, Kenfig Hill and Cefn Cribwr. With just over a year until the 2027 local elections, I’m more determined than ever to deliver real results. For Restore Britain to score 9% in a national poll less than a month after our official registration is a historic achievement. Restore Britain is the fastest growing political party in British history. The people are waking up.

Restore Britain is now polling 9% nationally - it continues to grow and grow. We will soon overtake the Lib Dems. That is historic growth. And I want to be really clear about what our objective is. Win the next general election, and restore Britain. We will stand hundreds of candidates from outside the rotten political establishment. They will not be failed Conservative ministers. They will not be desperate careerists who are seeking to harness the rightful anger of the British people to advance their own interests. They will not be politicians. They will be men and women who understand how the real world works - in business, medicine, industry, science, education, the military. Proper Britain. I have no interest in appealing to the Westminster elite - Tory, Reform, Labour. It all just stinks. Same people, same ideas, same failures. I don’t want to join the establishment. I want to smash it up. Because Britain doesn’t reforming, it needs restoring. Back to a time when our political system worked for the only group of people who matter. The British people. We are at the start of a very long road, but we have taken the first few very important steps. People laughed when I founded Restore Britain - they said we’d never even reach 1% in the polls. Well, we’re at 9% and we are not stopping there. Reform are leading that poll on 21%. On current trajectory? We will soon overtake the Tories and Labour, and then Reform. That’s the plan. And when we do it, that’s when the real change starts. We are aiming to implement the most radical changes to the British state anyone has seen in living memory. And I mean radical.
