We recently experienced a minor security incident.
Over the past three days, our website was repeatedly attacked by unknown individuals.
In most cases, we responded immediately within minutes and no damage occurred.
However, as you may have noticed, a few hours ago an attacker succeeded in gaining access to some wallets that were generated on our platform.
Approximately 20 SOL were lost; these funds had been generated through the Bagwork flywheel and similar features.
As we have done in past situations like this, we maintain a treasury wallet with sufficient SOL to fully compensate everyone affected.
- What exactly happened?
An unauthorized person managed to obtain admin access, which gave them limited access to certain database entries. This allowed them to drain a number of Solana wallets that held small balances.
We have already fixed the issue, and everything should be running normally again.
- What we’ve done to ensure this doesn’t happen again:
We have reset all PimpFun user wallets.
The underlying security vulnerability has been resolved.
Moving forward, all Bagwork Tech payouts will be sent directly to the wallet where you hold your coins, no one except you have access to those funds.
If you were affected by this incident, please fill out the refund form so we can return your SOL.

Thank you for your understanding. We take security very seriously and apologize for any concern this may have caused.
We recommend not depositing large amounts of Solana into your new Pimpfun wallets at this time.
We will monitor the situation over the next few hours to ensure with 100% certainty that everything is fully resolved and safe.

However, as you may have noticed, a few hours ago an attacker
10% of all creator fees generated from coins launched on our launchpad are now going directly toward buybacks of $PIMP.
It's time to spawn some runners!🫡
If you're having trouble connecting your X profile to your PimpFun account on an Android device, here's the fix:
You need to remove the 'i' from the link and replace it with your username!
If you already have 80,000 coins, you have an additional 3 days to reach 150,000
Otherwise, the rule applies to all newbies: 150,000 $PIMP coins (instead of 80,000) are required to join the bagwork flywheel
Tomorrow, we will increase the minimum holdings requirement from 80,000 to 150,000 $PIMP coins to join the Bagwork Tech.
It might be a good idea to grab some coins today!🤓

We've got even more good news:
The Bagwork flywheel is now receiving 50% more fees!
We've updated the fee distribution on $PIMP as follows:
40% to buybacks (unchanged)
60% to Bagwork (up from 40%)
And we've reduced the deployer fee from 20% to 0%.
This ensures our growth won't slow down!
You can track everything on our website:

Once whole CT understands the vision and that EVERYONE can make money simply by holding, bagworking, staking, or creating content - we're going parabolic.
Good morning! We’ve got great news: Our Bagwork flywheel is currently financing itself almost 100% through the fees generated by the trading volume!
Even on days with low volume! Just imagine what will happen when volume picks up.👀
We’re currently refining the reward system (the ‘bagwork flywheel’) to make it more sustainable and beneficial for everyone in the long term.
In the near future, we’ll introduce a daily earning limit based on how many $PIMP tokens you hold.
This change will help ensure that a significant portion of the distributed Solana rewards can be used for token buybacks, which will in turn allow us to increase payout limits over time.
The new structure will work like this:
For every 10,000 $PIMP tokens you hold, you’ll be able to earn up to $3 per day from the flywheel.
So, if you hold 100,000 tokens, your daily cap would be $30 - and it scales accordingly with larger holdings.
This rewards loyal holders while keeping the system healthy and focused on real growth
Just to clarify, this change is purely about the quality and relevance of the audience reached.
Nigerians (and everyone else) can absolutely still earn good money through the program.
The payout is $10 per 1,000 legitimate views.
In the past, a few accounts exploited the system by posting content that generated thousands of views almost entirely from users who had no real interest in the project - they were only there to claim rewards.
This resulted in payments of $200+ for posts that brought zero genuine new investors.
Paying $200 for authentic reach to a crypto-interested audience (for example, in the USA or elsewhere) is very different from paying the same amount for views coming mostly from people who are not interested in investing and are only participating to farm rewards.
If you look at other other posts, you’ll see we’re still happily paying everyone, including Nigerian creators, based on the actual non-farming reach they deliver to audiences genuinely interested in the project.
The goal is simply to reward real, valuable exposure, no matter who provides it.
Bagwork update: Just to be clear, We do not accept accounts that have around 70% of their insights/traffic from Nigeria, nor do we accept botted accounts that artificially boost their tweets through giveaways or similar tactics.
To make things fair, we’re going to handle it like this going forward - as an example, if an account has 70% of its insights from Nigeria, you will only be paid for the remaining 30%.
