There are things you say about Allah and His Messenger that instantly tell me you don’t understand how they operate. I have no doubt that Allah will question Buhari about Malami. This is what the Prophet said: “The ruler is a shepherd over the people, and he is responsible for his flock.” This is like saying Allah won’t question a husband about his wife and children. Buhari was responsible for Malami. He refused to fulfill the responsibility Allah placed upon him by holding Malami accountable. As a result, Malami looted public funds Buhari was entrusted to protect. I have no doubt that Allah will question Buhari about that.

If Allah won’t hold Buhari accountable for Malami’s deeds on the Day of Judgment why are you trying to do it on twitter ? Bring evidence against Buhari or leave him out of it.

The scary thing about that video clip is that Remi Tinubu was being very honest. That is the best they can do. Like they sat down and brainstormed and came up with grants for akara and kuli-kuli. That is the extent of their brilliant thinking.

You know what I absolutely hate about social media? The way it has normalized gossip and made it look like entertainment. Every day we’re force-fed people’s marriages, divorces, family disputes, friendships falling apart, private conversations, and personal scandals as though the entire world is entitled to a front-row seat. And somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that this is normal. Some of us use social media for work, business, education, or networking. Logging off completely isn’t always an option. But why does that mean we have to be unwilling participants in everyone else’s personal drama?

Another Monday, another week that Nigerian schools continue their normal activities while our Borno & Oyo schoolchildren are in the bush with heartless terrorists. Same terrorists that just killed an Army General now have our 2year olds. #bringbackourchidren

Why is it that in so many cases, the woman bears the heaviest consequences? She leaves a marriage and is labelled a failure. She seeks divorce and is treated as though she is the problem. Sometimes her children are used as leverage against her. Meanwhile, families watch, remain silent, and allow men to escape accountability. When legitimate channels of support are closed, people will inevitably look for other ways to be heard.

Insecurity has turned Arewa into a slaughterhouse. Farmers are killed, villages are ransacked, students are kidnapped from schools, travelers vanish on highways. Widows, orphans, and traumatized survivors everywhere, while our useless leaders carry on as if nothing is happening.

May Allah expose and disgrace everyone contributing to the insecurity in our country, and grant lasting peace and safety to our people. 🙏

It takes a commissioned officer in the Nigerian Army a minimum of 25 to 30 years of active, uninterrupted service to reach the rank of Major General. 30+ active years of service to his country, but look at how the system neglected him in those hard times. This is someone that dedicated his whole life in service to Nigeria, who contributed more than those currently in Government, whose only contribution is looting our resources and buying their ways to power. This is really heartbreaking 💔

A retired major general died of “hypertension” while in captivity in some forest in Katsina State. This country hurts my soul. And my heart. It hurts everything in me.

It’s really ignominious for a whole General to be kidnapped, kept for weeks, and later killed by terrorists without serious commitment to rescue him from their criminal den. This is really sad and heartrending. Just like General Alkali, Nigeria has also happened to General Rabe.

Nothing seems to electrify this part of the world, and drag us all into the same gossip mill quite like a “celebrity” marriage hitting the rocks. And it makes me wonder why anyone would bother turning their marriage into content. It hardly ever ends well.

I had this discussion only a few days ago. Men abandoned modesty in themselves, yet tried to enforce it on women, and that contradiction is where the problem started. You cannot build a moral society on hypocrisy. You cannot demand restraint while living without it. And you cannot lead people toward haya’ through force instead of example. That is how our moral bankruptcy started. A people once known for modesty, piety, and truthfulness are now publicly normalizing what they once condemned, spreading fasad without hesitation, and even taking pride in it. Allah ya kyauta. This is deeply unsettling.

If you’re too busy to exert yourself during these 10 days, then minding the actions of your tongue will suffice in shaa Allah. Say what is good, necessary and rewarding.

I’ll endure, I’ll understand, and I’ll give you grace, but endurance is not permanence. The day will come when my absence will speak louder than my patience ever did. And when I leave, I won’t just walk away, I’ll erase the path that led me to you.
