OpenAI pricing for their new models. GLM5.2 took the world by storm as "frontier by way cheaper" GLM5.2 pricing (per 1M tokens) is $1.40 input / $4.40 output. Luna matches that! Blended, both Luna and GLM5.2 are both $2 per 1M tokens
Benchmarks are always an interesting game. You know an end score, but not the details on how the end score was achieved. How long did it take to generate the results, what was the cost to generate the results, etc. Similar to how everyone is talking about how "cheap" GLM5.2 is, but there isn't a conversation around how token efficient it is. Benchmarks in a vacuum don't tell the full story. I love how OpenAI presented their benchmarks of their latest model because it seems like a step in the right direction on how benchmarks should be presented. Rather than showing individual benchmark scores on charts, they plotted performance against both cost AND latency. So what you end up seeing in the benchmark is how capable a model is per dollar and per second of wait time

SpaceX lands another computing deal, this time with Reflection, an open source model development company. $150m / month for GB300s. SpaceX the Neocloud! Deal 1 with Anthropic Colossus 1 and Colossus 2. Anthropic took all of Colossus 1 $1.25b / month ~325k total chips, split roughly into 150k H100s, 50k H200s, 125k GB200s ~$5-$6 / hour blended Deal 2 with Google Colossus 2 $920m / month ~110k GB200s / GB300s (not clear which chip) ~$11-$12 / hour Deal 3 with Reflection Colossus 2 $150m / month ~18k GB300s Amount of chips not disclosed, but if we use the same hourly rate as the Google deal, the implied number of GB300s is ~18k In Summary $2.32B / month >$10 / hour for Blackwells (which is a very high rate) These are all SHORT TERM deals... Each side has a 90 day out

There's a new entrant in Databricks' benchmarks! Historically they would always have a red bar (for their own performance) and a light blue bar (for Snowflake). But now a yellow bar has emerged. So who's this "yellow company"? It's @ClickHouseDB Real time analytics just upleveled into the big leagues.
