A pretty damning investigation by @thetimes has just dropped about Rupert Lowe’s @RestoreBritain. According to the investigation: • Individuals with links to neo-fascist and white nationalist movements obtained roles within local Restore Britain branches. • Some had histories of racist or extremist online posts, including praise for Hitler and advocacy of ethnic nationalism. • The leader of the “Remigration Now” movement is reported to have encouraged supporters to join Restore Britain. This is what happens when extremism is normalised and allowed to enter the mainstream unchecked. It’s shameful that this is happening in a country that lost 450,000 brave lives fighting fascism. The good people of Britain have to come together once again and eliminate this way of thinking.

Why was Farage not prosecuted for terrorism? Threatening violence for political ends is legally defined as terrorism. Farage was not merely reporting threats of violence – threats which he should have condemned. He was telling his supporters that it was justified to threaten violence and to engage in violence if the path to Brexit was blocked. His threat that he would "pick up a rifle", can only be understood as a call to terrorist violence if his demands weren't met. He would have known that his threats of violence would serve as a tool of intimidation. That, to me, sounds like terrorism as legally defined. At best, there appears to be a very fine line between it and terrorism. In 2019 @JolyonMaugham reported that some female MPs in Leave constituencies felt unable to support Remain for fear of violent reprisals. The issue of Brexit terrorism has been swept under the carpet. Please repost, the public needs to be reminded of Farage's dalliance with terrorism.
