I rewatched the TLOK because of that fucker and I realised that Tenzin and Tonraq never even made a single statement about being suspicious about Unalaq. Nothing. Because Unalaq and Tonraq kept arguing about Korra and Unalaq kept exposing him while Tenzin said not a single word.
Asami is actually fascinating. She’s seen as exceptionally beautiful by the other characters, but not in the mostly objectifying way that Ty Lee got. (No mean girl “you aren’t prettier” moments either.) She is also so intelligent and yet speaks with mostly actions and not words.
