Some thoughts on @edgeX_exchange A perp dex im farming actively these days.. I see it as a "dark horse” that deserves way more attention. Interestingly, it • survived 10/10 without a scratch • eLP printed during the chaos • pulled in $38M revenue in October alone And it’s not like it survived because nobody was trading lol if you look back at the data from 10/10, it was doing over $1.1B in OI and 5B volume ( insane imo ) Meanwhile, some top-tier perps and CEXs faced outages or had to trigger ADL during the same period ➥ What am I doing ? Mostly pairing edgeX with my regular perp farming and delta-neutral trading strategies. All I see on the TL right now is 2 camps yelling past each other. Camp 1: thinks the bottom is in and this is just a normal 25 percent correction that usually shows up before the next leg. Camp 2: Thinks it’s over and is leaning on the Wyckoff distribution, plus that $BTC close below the weekly 50 EMA for the first time since March 2023. By the looks of the market right now, it feels like the worst is behind us… but is it really? I went through the, Charts, On chain data and Market signals... To figure out if this crash was a full reset or just a calm before another dump A thread on what I found: 🧵👇

I’ve lived through 2018, 2020, 2022… but this one felt biggest crash ever.. - $1T+ wiped - $20B liquidated in under an hour - Exchanges went down - some stables depegged, chaos everywhere Here’s what really happened and what I think comes next:🧵👇

Wouldn’t be surprised if $XPL ends up pulling a move similar to $PUMP $PUMP did the classic post TGE pattern → 30% pump → 65% retrace → forms a solid base → slow grind back → full reversal to the listing wick and new highs.. $XPL hasn’t had that full 65% flush yet.. it’s been more controlled, but the rhythm feels the same and we are almost there.. Early hype → cool-off → base forming around $0.55–$0.60. If this range holds and we start seeing accumulation + volume pickup, I’ll look to size in there around $0.55 Same setup, just waiting for the same outcome.. a rip back toward the listing wick once sellers are done.

Trump just nuked the markets again. After months of negotiations and trade talks, he dropped the tariff bomb again threatening heavy duties on China. Within an hour, $750B got wiped from stocks, $120B from crypto, and nearly $500M in longs were liquidated. And the funniest part? It happened right after he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize. lmao You can’t make this up. But is the top in ? I don’t think so. Trump’s been playing this same game since Q1 threatening tariffs, markets panic, then a “deal” magically appears. We saw it in Q2, and imo, it’ll play out the same again. Short term though, volatility is back. Expect a few weeks of chop and downside to clear late bulls before reversal. My read: - More shakeouts coming - Reversal once everyone calls it a dead-cat - New ATH by late Oct / early Nov - Alt rally follows right after We’re still in the most bullish quarter and every cycle we’ve seen this kind of flush before the real leg up. No clean rallies without pain first.

Read this full piece earlier today from @a1research__ and it perfectly sums up where DeFi’s heading next.. We’re officially entering the real time blockchain era, where onchain trading starts matching CEX speed. 
Think 100k+ TPS, sub-second finality, and microsecond execution. Few takeaways: - Solana, Sei, Aptos, Sui, MegaETH, Monad, and Rise are all racing to build blockchains fast enough to host full onchain CLOBs. - These aren’t AMMs.. they’re full-blown orderbooks like NASDAQ, but onchain. - Each chain is solving the “speed” problem differently.. some with parallel execution (Aptos, Sui), others with modular design (Bullet, Monaco), and some even targeting microsecond-level matching. Projects like Monaco (Sei), Bullet (Solana), DeepBook (Sui), and Decibel (Aptos) are leading that charge, building shared liquidity and execution layers that apps can plug into… while Hybrid models (offchain matching, onchain settlement) made sense before, but it’s clear where this is going.. fully onchain matching is becoming both possible and preferred.. In the end, imo the real winners won’t be frontends or DEX UIs it will be whoever owns the liquidity layer + matching engine across ecosystems.
 That’s where the next wave of power and value in DeFi will sit..

And now it feels like quiet accumulation phase across high caps… liquidity rotating back on chain, expecting high caps to do well in the coming few days..

What’s the next logical bid after PerpDEXs ? Easily the infra these perps run on. Look for ones with real value accrual flywheels connected to perp activity. Take @SuccinctLabs for example , two perps using zk proofs: ▸ Lighter ▸ Hibachi Every trade, liquidation, or state update needs a ZK proof. Succinct provers generate them. As perps scale, proof demand rises with it which fuels more $PROVE rewards for both provers and stakers. Interestingly both protocols incentivise $PROVE in some way: ▸ Lighter hinted at $Prove airdrop ▸ Hibachi gives points to stakers It's more like projects are leaning towards zk infras and Succinct is sitting at core of it right now Same across other niches like compute networks ( @cysic_xyz ) who also run provers on Succinct and reward stakers Free money on table imo

The way $ASTER, $AVNT, $XPL, $APEX, $STBL all pulled 7-figure trades for ppl lately feels like a signal for the whole market. Every week has had at least one big cook.. that’s bullish. And imo when retail keeps getting plays like this to print, chances of the market going lower are slim. Positive sentiment → risk-on behavior → more flows → more rotations. - Winners rotate into the next play - New money sees the green and apes in - Liquidity snowballs because no one wants to sit sidelined It’s a reflexive loop. The more winners we get, the more confident the market feels, and the harder it gets to push prices lower. Not straight up only… but dips in this type of market get eaten fast. higher imo
