The US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve executive order is about to hit its one-year anniversary and basically nothing has happened. Trump signed it to massive celebration. The industry popped champagne. People posted laser eyes. And then the government did what governments always do = it moved at government speed. one year later the reserve exists on paper but the acquisition strategy, the custody framework, and the operational details are all still undefined. The bitcoin is sitting in seized wallets that haven't been consolidated. This is why it's always more interesting to use @BTCPerception track what's happening in Kazakhstan and Japan and Brazil than what's happening in Washington. Those countries are actually buying and building. The US is writing executive orders and scheduling hearings. The country with the most capital and the most companies is somehow the slowest to actually execute on sovereign adoption. And the countries with the least capital are lapping them. This pattern is going to look obvious in hindsight.
