In typical Bricks and Minifigs fashion, corporate recently has sent a cease and desists letter to a former BAM franchisee. The video reveals a termination letter from Bricks & Minifigs corporate to Gabe, a Florida franchisee. The host claims corporate allows owners to temporarily skip rent or royalties, only to log those defaults and use them as leverage later. When Gabe's store became highly profitable with valuable inventory, corporate used these past infractions to immediately terminate his contract. They hit him with $163,000 in sudden back fees and liquidated damages. At what point will people acknowledge this may be a horrible business with egregious contractual obligations.
