Zille restores power to Fairland residents after 5months on a mobile generator. For 5 months, at R22 000 a day. Fairland folks were getting power from a mobile generator burning diesel, when their minisub exploded and JHB Power couldn't "find" a new one. Enter Zille effect. Within one day of visiting the area and exposing the endlessly running generator, @helenzille called out Joburg Power, and guess what? They suddenly found a mini-sub. It is unthinkable that this level of incompetence and ineptitude continues to characterize Joburg but it does. Every day. And Zille is the only person taking it seriously, locking in and actually delivering to residents.

Eskom was intentionally broken down by the ANC government... Then they used BEE as their tool to lay their hands on the money. Eskom managers intentionally allowed the power utility to collapse into load shedding so they could exploit tender processes for personal gain.
