I have yet to meet a woman whose life truly improved after marriage. She won’t say she’s unhappy, but you can see it in the way her light fades, the way she barely exists outside of work, housechores, and childcare, all of which she mostly shoulders alone.

Doctors are constantly putting down their lives for others. Underpaid, overworked, disrespected( especially by HMO patients), unsavory working conditions. Now, that she’s dead, I hope you can see why they are all living the country???

Before she died, it took over an hour for intervention to come. INSIDE a hospital she works in. It’s why I get irritated when ‘lay people’ blame the average doctor for avoidable deaths that occur due to the systemic rot in our health sector. We’re victims too. We’re not spared!

It’s like you people don’t even understand what housejob is? You are literally living for your patients, you’ll run for blood for them, run for test results for them, hustle to get their lines, they’ll call you and you’ll jump up immediately and yet the system can’t save you

That elevator crash in HSC was completely avoidable! She didn't need to die for it to be attended to. Other doctors had complained numerous times about the same elevator. I hate how the "anyhowness" in Nigeria keeps snatching lives and dreams. It's frustrating! Damn!
