A civil registry is the state system that manages legal identity status through national ID records, including how deaths are formally processed across government databases. When identity records are suddenly deactivated at this scale, it signals a mass event being handled administratively — not isolated incidents. This is genocide. This is crimes against humanity — historic crimes at a scale not seen since World War II. And the regime is trying to bury the real toll through blackout conditions, intimidation, censorship, disappearing bodies, silencing families, and systematically downplaying the #IranMassacre numbers.

The Islamic Republic is escalating repression by confiscating assets, and footballers are on the list. Judiciary-linked reports say the assets of figures like Ali Daei, Voria Ghafouri, and Sardar Azmoun have been targeted to punish dissent, including threats of confiscating up to half their property as so-called “compensation” for protest-related damages. They even claimed his café’s “style” is incompatible with the city of Qom. This will be replicated to further terrorize a population that has already endured one of the deadliest protest crackdowns in modern history. The regime is expanding economic warfare to bankroll its terror and refill its dried-up coffers.
