مدنی ماں گھر میں بچوں کو سیرت کے واقعات سناتی رہتی تھی۔ ایک دن بچے نے ضد کی کہ مجھے اپنے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ملانے کے لیے لے جائیں۔ ماں سمجھ رہی تھی کہ شاید یہ روضہ اقدس پر جانے کا کہہ رہا ہے۔ لیکن جب مسجد نبوی کے صحن میں پہنچ کر خاتون نے اسے بتایا کہ وہ سامنے والے گیٹ سے گزر کر آقائے کریمؐ کی قبر مبارک پر سلام پیش کریں گے۔ یہ سننا تھا کہ بچہ بلک بلک کر رونے لگا کہ میرے آقا کی وفات ہو چکی ہے؟ آپ نے ابھی تک مجھے بتایا ہی نہیں۔ وہ تو سمجھ رہا تھا کہ آنحضرتؐ کے دیدار سے آنکھیں ٹھنڈی کروں گا۔ مگر..... بچے اور ماں کا مکالمہ جب بچے کے آنسو دیکھے تو مدینہ میں اصحاب رسول کی وہ کیفیات نظروں کے سامنے چلنے لگیں کہ امت محمدیہ کا ایک بچہ رسول اللہ کی وفات کی خبر سن کر آنسو بہا رہا ہے جس نے آپکو دیکھا نہیں صرف سنا ہے وہ جنہوں نے ساتھ وقت گزارا ساتھ نبھایا ان شمع رسالت کے پروانوں کا عالم کیا ہوگا ۔
