FYI: FWPD acknowledged the issue: The department reviewed the incident, called the officer’s comments “not accurate,” and is providing First Amendment refresher training precisely because the warning misapplied the law to protected religious or political speech. The actual citation issued was for noise not content. If I were the defendant I would still challenge it as a violation of his 1A rights.
