Last night I used a 12” telescope to capture a hyper-detailed portrait of the Sturgeon moon.
This photo was captured using a special astronomy camera, allowing me to get meticulous color contrast on the lunar surface. You can see how impacts paint the battered landscape.
We are saddened by the passing of Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo 13 and a four-time spaceflight veteran.
