It's a preposterous claim based on nothing more than a very obvious misrepresentation of the data. The easiest way to see just how indefensible a claim this is is to look at the number of child deaths in Gaza compared to other instances of urban warfare. Gaza: ~20,000 children killed in 2 years. Aleppo: ~5,000 children killed in 4 years. Similar population size, half the duration, yet four times as many child fatalities. This means children in Gaza were killed at roughly eight times the rate they were in Aleppo. Aleppo was widely considered to be a humanitarian disaster. Gaza is significantly worse. The claim that Gaza has the lowest civilian-to-combatant ratio in history is a disgusting lie of historic proportions.
