I’ve just driven from Bradford to Wakefield. Passed at least 8 petrol stations. None closed and no long queues. A few cars at each. Who is trying to con the country into panic buying? Is it a coincidence that this fiasco started at the same time as the Labour conference?

Interesting. Wife's friend suffered a power cut today, just his property. Was supposed to be switching suppliers, rings them up to be told, sorry it's an admin error, power is restored. They had remotely switched his supply off... He has a smart meter...
