Israels actions today do not change the context of hamas or hezbollah going back decades. For years the Palestinians had been killing innocent israeli and American civilians. They didn’t do this because they thought Israel was genocidal. Israel didn’t force them to kill the PM of Jordan or attempt to kill the king. Israel didn’t make the PLO attack Lebanese Christians when Jordan kicked them out or side with Sadam and kill Kuwaitis when Lebanon kicked them out and Kuwait gave them shelter. These are horrible people with a long history pf doing bad things. No matter how you may feel about Israels actions today, it doesn’t excise or erase the awful history of the Palestinians

Yeah those quotes were all after the slaughter and mutilation of men, women, and children on 10/7 and I dont think any of them are in the war cabinet. Not to mention words are not genocide. Letting in more food in any war in history, moving the people around to preserve life during conflict, administering over a million polio vaccines, helping sick kids get into egypt or jordan for care all point to a lack of intent.

Israel did not fund Hamas - Qatar did, israel simply allowed the money to pass through. Too communist and liberal? Those are the ppl they want defending them. The PLO was a bathist Socialist movement with sprinkle’s of Communists throughout their ranks. Genocide is not a feeling its a legal term with a legal definition and legal requirements to be brought as proof. The legal requirement is called “Dolus specialis” or specific intent. It means there can be no other reason for the acts of genocide to be occuring. No country has ever been found guilty of genocide just acts thereof because war is allowed but genocide is not. The Bosnia serbia war was not genocide but the Srebrenica massacre was deemed an act of genocide within the war because the massacre was unprovoked and had no military advantage -they just wanted to kill as many as possible as quickly as they could. WW2 not a genocide but the holocaust was a genocide that took place within WW2. Israel got pushed into a war it did not ask for but thats not genocide. The fact we got Israel to do multiple ceasefires and sign an agreement to end hostilities permanently speaks to a lack of intent. Id love you to show me otherwise

If he had some prior knowledge of Israel being Genocidal that he didn’t have then you’d have to believe he would be actively advocating to start a war with a country that would genocide you for your actions and that would be a stupid position to take. Whether or not you believe Israel to be Genocidal has any bearing on Cenks opinions. What he said is verifiably true - if you fire at Israel enough they are going to invade you. Say you had the prior knowledge that they are genocidal - are you now saying it’s smart to provoke a country that would Genocide you in retaliation.
