The game has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, bringing the biggest overhaul to how the Zone looks, feels, and lives since launch. Assassin's Creed 3 (original) was de-listed when they released the Remaster, which I'll remind you, had character models looking like clay. There's been a lot of morons saying "who cares, the original is still there" in regards to Assassin's Creed Black Flag's changes. Not just the Bonny shit either, I'm talking everything. The entire game's design is shifted to the RPG model. It won't play like the old one. They SAID they won't be delisting Black Flag. But they also said we should get comfortable not owning our games, and they didn't bother listing the original AC3 either nor FIXING the ugly ass character models in the remaster. So, idk. If you never played the OG and you want it, keep that in mind. I'm all too used to being told 'stop judging games before they're out yooouuu griifffffter' but I'd buy this over the Remake anyway because better visuals don't make for a better experience. The shift towards the RPG model is dumbfounding to me. Clips of people swinging at a fucking crocodile or a jaguar 15 times to kill it looks like a rehash of the same mistakes Shadows committed.

My main concerns with Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced so far: - Hunting, while I do think removing the QTEs is an improvement as mentioned previously in a comment, ALL animals should go down with 2-3 swings OR a SINGLE gunshot. Damage Sponges do NOT belong in AC4 and are immersion breaking. This is a balance change and should hopefully be easy to implement by launch - The removal of Hidden Blade combat, this simply is a step down from the original and should return, plus picking up enemy weapons should return. - The menus and HUD: They are functional, but being identical to Shadows is seriously disappointing and loses a lot of AC4's identity. even the font is identical to the one in Shadows. This can be fixed by bringing back the Black/Gold theme and adjusting the font to match the original, plus adding some more pirate themed aspect to the menus - Cutscenes: I already spoke about this yesterday, but RPG generic cutscenes do NOT belong in AC4, seeing this implemented into AC4 is hugely disappointing when they managed to have all scenes motion captured 13 years ago, they don't look good and overall detract from the game as a whole. - Health bars should be turned off by default, I know the HUD is customizable but the default experience needs to always be the ideal one, so these should be off. Overall, Black Flag Resynced is about 85% of the way towards being an ideal remake IMO. Mission design, open world, graphics, combat, stealth, exploration, all look to be massively improved over the original and for many, that alone makes this replace the original game as a whole for revisiting AC4. But that final 15% if achieved, could result in this truly being a perfect remake and while launch is just around the corner, Crimson Desert has proven you CAN implement changes of this level in just a month, so I hope Ubisoft Singapore can pull this off by July. I am very excited for this remake and want it to be that massive celebratory moment for the franchise as a whole so badly, so fingers crossed they listen to the feedback and nail it by launch.

Please share this everywhere, Sony has a huge security issue, what this is about: - Attackers only need your public PSN ID plus one piece of old transaction data, so usually a full order number or the last four digits of a card you used on the account at any point in the past. - They contact Sony support (or use the automated recovery tool) and provide that information as “proof of ownership.” - Sony’s internal support system then lets them change the email address linked to the account and disable 2FA. No login is required on their end. Yes you read that right, people can disable mfa and change your Playstation email account if they manage to fool the Sony support. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Dying Light The Beast is adding a huge new update that features a new mode that fundamentally rethinks the entire game This is Restored Land: - In this mode, the entire world is now persistent. Loot does not respawn and neither do zombies - Mission is to take back Castor Woods from the infected by clearing out the map of Zombies with new quests & activities - Heavy focus on the hunger system and survival mechanics - Liberating locations will result in humans taking over them and turning them into outposts - The Beast becomes a fundamentally different game in this mode, much closer to a survival title - There’s a permanent death mode as well with special rewards for finishing it - The update adds new finishers, and new loot to the main game - New vehicle challenges are here as well This update launches in a few days on March 26th, seems like the perfect opportunity to hop back into the game in co-op and check this new mode out!
