regardless of what people tell you, status-maxxing in your early years (teens / early 20s) is def +EV for vast majority of people surprised to see people claim the opposite as cost of intelligence decreases, doesn't brand / storytelling become the primary differentiator? i underestimated the importance of this tbh, but you can fortunately (now and prob always) bypass trad forms of status (school, work, etc) by making ungodly sums of money the great equalizer in life
