Today was huge for the hospitality workers’ movement in Glasgow. Within a few hours, hundreds of our members - old + new - challenged the belligerence of their bosses and won. We have built several cells of worker-power in a single day. Weeks where decades happen and all that.

The 13th Note still has no new tenant 15 months after closure. It has been "under offer" for 6 months. @13thNoteWorkers would have reopened as a workers' co-op had @GlasgowCC not rejected our detailed & extensive bid, bringing well-paid jobs & community programs to the Trongate.
