It's because it's easy and takes no effort. When many 2nd Amendment "supporters" have to put forth minimal effort, they aren't interested. Follow up on the politicians who say they support the 2nd Amendment but they don't vote accordingly they aren't interested. Financially support pro 2A candidates in a primary? They aren't interested in voting. Testify? Not interested. Rally? Is a ball game on? Is my team playing? My dog's birthday? Can't make the rally. They conflate owning firearms with supporting the 2nd Amendment. They support the 2nd Amendment the same way they support protecting the environment by owning a lawn mower.

"DON'T TRUST GOVERNMENT! " - Founding Fathers New Jersey ignored it's own firearms laws and banned a gun that didn't violate those laws based on lies. The M1 Carbine is blamed for crimes supposedly committed by looters in 1967! The video explains how it's banned by name.

I got to meet @VivekGRamaswamy at Gun Con 2026 in Niles Ohio. I would've been impressed with a simple handshake and go. He asked me to explain "the 2nd Amendment is For Everyone: Diversity Shoot" I founded in 2015. He then proceeded to mention us multiple times during his speech. If you asked me prior to Gun Con if I was interested in who would win the Ohio gubernatorial election, I would've said no. I listened to Vivek's speech and he said things that I believe are fundamental in an elected representative in this country. Ohio residents should really listen to what he has to say, if not in person, then watch him in conversations or Q&As. Don't allow other people to tell you what he said. Listen to him for yourself and you decide. You're an adult. Treat learning about who's running for office like an adult. You don't need anyone to explain to you what's being said.
