@Josephinequaker @DefendNoWave Aww yea. “Mad World” and The Hurting album. Peter Gabriel III, especially “Intruder,” a piece of the puzzle too. Adam Ant’s “Killer In The Home” worth a mention. None of it goth per se, but the rhythms all right on the money, spiced with just a little bit of claustrophobia.
