Goodness gracious. If this is the type of stuff we're seeing on PUMP's first mini rally, it's going to get pretty interesting when the animal spirits come back. 1. PUMP generated more than 1.5x the revenues of the entire Solana chain over the last 90 days. It's doing this in a "risk-off" market. What happens in a "risk-on" market? There are MANY more memecoin traders (and social interest around that) than there are users for *any crypto project in the market today.* Crypto natives refuse to accept this (harsh?) reality. 2. PUMP has less team + investor unlocks than Hyperliquid. Furthermore, the protocol has generated nearly $2.3b since launching less than 2.5 years ago. I'd be surprised if the founders want to sell into an $800m market cap when its price-to-sales ratio is 1.3x and they're already wealthy. Apparently nobody is paying attention to how the app, user retention, and UX have evolved in the bear market. The team is clearly heads down building, but you have to do a little research to see that. 3. PUMP uses 50% of its revenue to repurchase tokens. Can someone explain why tokenholders should feel this is misaligned with them? 4. People "don't trust" the Pump team, yet they continue to build for their *users* rather than haters on CT. Nobody is putting a gun to their users' heads as far as I know. Yet user retention is stronger than most web2 apps (in a bear market). And Creators on Pump Fun have earned $400m over the last year on the platform (early YouTube vibes) while the team repurchases the token. Where exactly is all the "misalignment" everyone is pointing at? 5. "Bad vibes?" The bad vibes are on CT, coming from ideologues who would rather invest in projects that nobody uses, I guess. You don't see a lot of Pump Fun discourse on CT because the users are on the Pump Fun platform, which has social elements. if you live on ct, you believe everything happening in crypto comes through the feed. if the pump revenue was real, there'd signs on the timeline. this is true for most of crypto, not for pumpfun What i've learned working for threadguy is it's an entirely different crowd. I genuinely had no clue how big TJR, Orangie, Jack Duval, Cupsey etc... were until they jumped on our stream and viewership was at least 3x'ing from what i can tell, the engagement following the real trencher KOLs is real. they just don't tweet. it's a bunch of kids who go to the mines every day and play memecoins like a skill based slot machine honestly i don't even know where they coordinate themselves if not ct: some mix of tik tok, youtube, & A LOT of telegram chats that federate out ideas. but this gap is *in theory* what creates opportunity in the pump chart
