@D_BagmanMUFC @GeronimoMorgans England carved out the two clearest chances of the first half with quality moves which both led to the goals. If the gameplan was sit back, conserve energy in the conditions and hit with quality on the break it was perfect until that last 5 minutes of the first half.

@1962Vali @Racing_Tales So it clearly diluted the quality of the GC in some years. However if the race exists then it probably should remain a Grade 1. A random open grade 2 would make no sense. The mares is the one which shouldn't be a G1.

@1962Vali @Racing_Tales Alberta's Run won an RSA over 3m & ran in a gold cup before it won its first Ryanair. Vatour certainly would have run in a GC. He almost did in 2016 but switched as they felt he wasn't 100%. Allaho, having won and placed in G1s over 3m (Inc twice at Cheltenham) would have also.
