I’m so fascinated by the architecture of the pigs from the movie. Everything is so chaotic and out of proportions, but it’s also expected by the ones who built it. Not to mention it looks like it could all fall apart any second without a bird flinging toward it.

I’m sort of confused why Rovio has felt the urge to pump out Angry Birds Space related content the past few months. The game hadn’t been mentioned in years, and obviously it doesn’t have anything to do with the movie releasing. It’s just random hype build up with no climax.

I really enjoy Pasi Pitkänen’s art. It brings a little bit of the Kombo designs to life. It’s a shame he wasn’t tasked to do more like the comic below.

I’ve seen people talking about some of the crossovers Angry Birds has had. I’d like to bring to light this ad for Coca Cola in China. It is the only time Toons Hal has been in an animation for anything.

In addition, Rovio also started making very questionable decisions in updating their classic games with content and ads. Ultimately, leading to many of them being taken off of app stores. So really, the movie designs were signs of the beginning of the end. (2/2)

It wasn’t hate on the designs for the movie. Those designs fit what the film was trying to do and it worked. What fans disliked was how Rovio replaced original game art with the designs from the film, often looking out of place and not working in the context of the games. (1/2)

I really don't get why this Movie's reimagination of the birds design had so much hate thrown at it, i mean yeah i can see how bizarre it must've been to see em suddently have limbs in the big screen,but the redesigns just elevate the character's shape language and personalities!

High key, I’ve got no clue where this World Cup lookin’ scene from the trailer is taking place. Those rocks on the shore do not exist on either Piggy Island or Bird Island.

Everything I’m saying is all my opinion and I could be wrong about the third movie. But at this point, I feel we are so detached from the original storyline of pigs stealing the bird’s eggs that it doesn’t feel like the same franchise anymore. (5/5)

I believe what brought the Angry Birds Movie the success it had was the fact that it was actually based on the original game. It brought characters that people knew, and added a few extra ones without taking away screen time from the ones from the games. (1/?)
