Add in maximal expansion of production. How long before the product no longer sustains the effort to extract it?

@Seanbonna @EdwardTWinz That’s fair as far as it goes. One estimate is we get maybe 5% thru Hormuz. IIRC nearly all of that goes to California which cut back on statewide production. If accurate enough, that reveals their high prices. 100% domestic used and selling the excess with a full reserve, great.

Big Oil is a “system” of the future - decisions made today can take years to bear fruit. $20 going in our tank buys a “futures contract” for crude not yet discovered. We pay with $’s for work we did maybe a month ago in a job we planned for in high school. See?

@Seanbonna @EdwardTWinz It’s the old rule of thumb in the industry. Fuel in the storage tanks has already been paid for but fuel yet to be bought may cost more. This is not to say Big Oil is generous, they leverage bad news to hold their price up. Ask… why do Americans subsidize the rest of the World?!
