The number of flights using UK airspace has now returned to pre-pandemic levels and is predicted to grow further. As we approach a new year, ACOG looks forward to continuing to work with airports and NATS to upgrade our airspace infrastructure, making it fit for the future.

Aviation is vital to the UK economy, supporting 960,000 jobs and contributing £52 billion to overall GDP. Modernisation will ensure the industry can maintain important global connections, boosting economic growth 🌍
Just like (Christmas) trees reduce carbon, airspace modernisation will mean fewer carbon emissions per flight. This will be achieved through more direct and efficient routes 🎄
Airspace modernisation will leverage modern technologies, like Performance Based Navigation, to fly more direct routes, achieve quicker climbs and make later descents. 'Tis the season for boosting efficiency 🎁
