AI is catapulting me WAY ahead of my colleagues. At the agency I work at, my colleagues are drowning in client work. I'm using AI to 3x my efficiency and keep up. Learning how to prompt has been one of the best investments I've made in self-education.

From my experience, one of the biggest reasons why a campaign or a particular piece of copy flops is because someone tried too hard to reinvent the wheel. Get the fundamentals right — then get creative. Trends come and go, but fundamentals never change.

@ttaylarosee Do you have a routine for getting into flow? I find that flow for me is task-dependent (whether it’s boring or not). Also the amount of caffeine I’ve consumed.

Here's what a well-designed prompt might sound like. "You're a brilliant B2C copywriter. You're writing an ad for a foot fungal cream for high-performance athletes. Use a tone that's motivated and inspiring. Keep the ad to three lines and include emojis." Simple stuff.

Most writers new to AI make this one MAJOR mistake. They use zero-shot prompting. Include four critical details in your prompt and watch your output TRANSFORM.
