The Orange County Superior Court, one of the clerks, just told us that they are backlogged 6-8 weeks with processing e-filings. Recall they no longer accept in person filings from lawyers, you are required to e-file. This is completely unacceptable and is hurting clients and litigants, stopping people from being able to access the Courts, and raising the costs and stakes to attorneys trying to practice in those Courts. It is a bar to justice. And they'll then say it's due to the budget and/or hiring. Guess what, not our fucking problem. Someone really needs to do something about this. Anyways, we are truly living in crazy times.

And then perhaps you blew a statutory deadline due to the rejected filing and they refuse to retroactively date it back to the original filing date and then you are completely fucked, or appeal or something, I guess.

@AMandoSch After 8 weeks, they will reject your filing incorrectly on a minor technical ground that would have been fixed at the window 10 years ago.

@freddyriz I have, I actually like Riverside Probate, never had any issues like I've had in Orange County. Well, except for the all separate filing system.....
