Baroness Suttie and I met with the NI Veterans Commissioner along with SAS, RUC, and armed forces veterans who served during the Troubles. At the Royal Irish HQ we discussed safeguards for veterans, what justice looks like, and the importance of reconciliation.

@bencobley More shoplifting witnessed in SW London this morning. Fairly casual approach too. I think that's what's so alarming, not just the frequency of the incidents now, but the fact that it's being done so brazenly. Less than 50 yards from a police station too.

@bencobley Things seem to be on the slide in London. I've personally witnessed two instances of shoplifting recently in my area. Weed smoking in public seems commonplace too. Both these things happened previously I know but not to the same level. Both things are a bit of an index of change.
