Somebody in Tel Aviv sent a memo yesterday, and every Israel First influencer in social media started barking the same line at the same time. Dinesh D’Souza, one of many such B-Tier pro-Israel influencers who manage to tweet in a flock, declared… “Jesus was not a Christian, and neither were Adam, Noah, Abraham and Moses. To say otherwise is to confuse the literal, historical Bible with a metaphorical or spiritual reading of the Bible.” What this denial of historic Christian orthodoxy  is protecting is the “Judeo-Christian” brand of Christian Zionism, and the moment you admit the Old Testament is a Christian book, testifying of Christ and saving Christ’s people by faith in Jesus, the “Judeo” half of that hyphenated marketing slogan stops meaning what they need it to mean. Abraham was not a Jew waiting on a religion he had never heard of. Abraham was a sinner saved by grace through faith in the Redeemer God promised him. So was Moses. So was Enoch. So, four thousand years before Antioch coined the word, every last Old Testament Saint was a believer in the Messiah that Ben Shapiro and Benjamin Netanyahu reject. Dispensationalists will sometimes even brag that theirs is a “more authentically Jewish way of interpreting the Scriptures.” They’re bragging about reading the Bible like a rabbi. That’s the problem. The Jewish rabbis had the Son of God, their long-awaited Messiah, fulfilling every prophecy and checking off all the prophetic boxes standing right in front of them, and not only did they fail to see it, but they also murdered Him. That might be your first clue that you do not want to be interpreting the Old Testament like a Jew.

Joel Berry - a key cog in the Israeli Evangelical Influence op - is either profoundly stupid, or thinks you are. The Church Fathers, down the line, were hardcore “Replacement Theologians” (as he calls it). They all emphatically claimed that the church replaced Israel as the Covenant people of God. What the DID believe is called “The Ingathering of the Nations” in which ALL nations will be redeemed and reconciled to God in the eschaton. Because the Abrahamic Promise says ALL nations would be blessed through Abraham (on account of Christ), that includes ethnic Jews, who will one day come to Christ and be redeemed. The bait-and-switch that this Judeo-Christian influencer is attempting is to hope YOU are too stupid to know that’s not the same as *Dispensational* Premillennialism, which teaches that Jews remain in Covenant despite their rejection of Jesus, and PRIOR TO their mass conversion. ALL of the Church Fathers - down the line - would have anathematized Joel Berry from the church and handed him over to Satan for heresy. That’s not exaggerative. Some might have suggested he be set on fire for claiming that Jews remain in Covenant without Christ. Meanwhile, the Church Fathers ALSO believed that EVERY nation would be redeemed and drawn to Zion - including the Persians (Iranians) and Philistines (Palestinians). But nobody suggests we fund their militaries and turn a blind eye to their genocides because one day God will redeem them. In Isaiah 19 it tells us Egypt and Assyria will all be saved, and in Isaiah 29 it tells us they will be given Zion along with all the other nations. Q. Why isn’t Berry demanding that Egypt be given an allotment in the West Bank because God’s going to save them one day? A. Because he works for the Israel Lobby to manipulate Christians to support a nation that rejects Jesus and mistreats Jesus’ followers. He does theology for hire.

I'm 50. I'll be divesting myself of everything I own when I'm 75 - it all gets offloaded and managed by my sons at that point. I have seven big reasons for this: 1) I'm watching my nearly 80 yr old father fall for every possible scam because the digital world has become far too sophisticated for him. His phone is his kryptonite. I assume the world will be crazier. My sons will have a better shot at navigating that world. 2) I will be done with my most productive decades and will be downshifting into advisory. I won't 'retire' but the nature of the work will change. 3) Pushing assets down the line increases maximum impact for rising generations. They need the resources for grandchildren: education, tuitions, seed money for start-ups, first homes, we want wives staying home to raise babies. 4) I expect a clean room and meals at one of their homes. I'm more than happy to keep the property spic and span, and add value and drive people as long as they'll let me have keys. The windows will be washed and the flowerbeds will stay mulched. 5) I want to be as integrated into their world as they want me to be, but I will endeavor to not be a nuisance as long as possible. I know we don't control the end game - and everyone is bed-ridden at the very end. 6) Blessings and inheritances are meant to be bestowed at the end of the life, not read by some sod in a suit in a downtown law office. 7) I want my sons to be trained and capable and aware of this arrangement starting now, so we run a plan and don't just stumble our way into the 4th quarter. --- Whatever happens at the end, it will be better than watching what I'm watching with this fading generation. My gosh. What buffoonery, waste, and clueless disregard for their generational lines. It's astounding. Draining. Every. Last. Drop. And no, they didn't NEED THE SECOND SAUNA, it's just nice to have, rather than walk all the way back up to the main house. Makes sense.

A female Fort Worth police officer was caught on camera threatening to ticket a retired federal law enforcement officer and Christian street preacher for “offensive speech.” The officer told the man that if someone is offended by his preaching, then “we have a problem” and said she would issue him a ticket. When he asked if she was really going to ticket him for offensive speech, she replied, “Yes, I am.” This is a blatant violation of the First Amendment. Police officers do not have the authority to ticket people for speech that offends others. That is the exact opposite of how freedom of speech works in America. The fact that this officer targeted a retired federal law enforcement officer who was simply preaching makes this even more unacceptable.
