@AllForTheShow82 @xMBGx The best example I can .2 is uncharted. The original on PS3 ran at 30. But then I got the Nathan Drake collection on PS4 later on that ran at 60. There was definitely a smoothest there to the point where I could tell, but that did not make the original PS3 version a slidesho.

@AllForTheShow82 @xMBGx Honestly, I always go for Fidelity mode. But then again I’m a sucker for eye candy. I’ll take the FPS hit to make things a little sharper. Within reason.

@bl0kkf4ustus @AllForTheShow82 @xMBGx I get the opoosite. Fidelity mode seems to be more stable. Performance mode might have a little higher FPS, but depending on what it is, everything is so muddied and blurred. I have a hard time seeing it. 60 is nice, but I would take the rock solid 30 over a fluctuating 40/50

@AllForTheShow82 @xMBGx It’s definitely noticeable but at the same time that doesn’t mean that 30 is completely unplayable. It doesn’t start getting really noticeable until you drop down to like the mid 20s or lower.

@mrpyo1 Delay is a start, but it’s not enough. But here’s a scenario for you. Supposedly you do this disk to digital from Xbox. And then you get helix which is discless. Sell series X. Let one of your friends borrow a disk. Now they have the digital license you can’t get back.

@Romudeth You don’t have to check the voice actor, but I remember playing xcom 2 back in the day, and when that commissioner or the guy that gave the missions came on my first reaction was hello Optimus. Turns out it was Jon Bailey. No wonder I got confused.

Fired up MGS4 from the vol2 collection on PC. Thing runs like a charm. At least initially I’ve only played it for about 10 minutes but funny thing. Konami seems to have forgotten the “exit to desktop” option. As of right now the only way to exit is alt+f4

@LionheartAsh1 I mean, I’m sure they’re probably still gonna go All digital starting with helix onward. But at least it’s a middle ground to allow backward-compatible stuff to be able to be played on a All digital console without having to re-buy it.

@GwynnieTheP00 @Romudeth I’m with you on the scratch and broken part. Although I genuinely take good care of my stuff. So it’s not without benefits, of course. I just fear the wider implications once there’s no recourse for anything else. Give people an inch they take a mile.

@GwynnieTheP00 @Romudeth Until of course, the time comes when they decide it’s not financially advisable to let two people play one purchase and take that away. Sony is notorious for removing features all the time. Just look at how many things got ripped from the PS3 from the launch model.

@trentreed27 @MrMidnight1188 I’d have to try it out. But my theory is that once it becomes a digital license it would just be like downloading something from your history that you purchased digitally. As long as you’re signed in. I’m assuming it should work the same way

@MrMidnight1188 They probably won’t. This is just the current solution. My guess is so that you could play backward-compatible Xbox games on the helix but now you have the digital license so you don’t need the disc.

@GwynnieTheP00 @Romudeth It’s been released 5 times. 2013 was the original PS3/360. Then was remastered for PS4/XB1. PC release in 2015. Another re-release for the PS 5/series. And then in 2025 PC got another release to include the PS5 era enhancements.

@001American @GameReviewGuy Even going back to the PS3 I always said I preferred Xbox LIVE as far as the experience because it seemed to flow so much better. PSN is OK. But when it goes down it’s usually down for much longer than if Xbox LIVE experiences the same thing.

@KINGRHOG @Puertorock77_ There used to be a time when it was kind of both. But you’re right the focus was on gameplay first and then they would make pretty graphics as time/budget allowed. Now it seems like everybody’s pushing 8K because anything less is trash automatically. So everything else suffers.
